Specialist Agnė Šileikienė

During my studies, while searching for an answer to which field of medicine I saw myself in, I gained practical experience in oncology, hematology, pediatric rheumatology, and neonatology departments, and I did an internship at the Giannina Gaslini Institute in Italy. However, I eventually realized that I was most interested in the human body as a whole, the etiology of diseases, and their connection to lifestyle, nutrition, and genetics. This led me to choose family medicine. This field is a shared journey with the patient, where I have the opportunity to build a long-term relationship, get to know them from different perspectives, connect their various ailments into a cohesive whole, and focus not only on treatment but also on disease prevention.

I became fascinated with endobiogeny during my residency. I had the honor of learning from a family doctor who was highly loved by patients and who applied a broad approach to the human body and health, integrating endobiogeny alongside the achievements of “traditional” medicine. I saw that patients value a doctor’s broader perspective on health, which is why I am now on this path, aiming to provide comprehensive healthcare and support to people.

Endobiogeny attracted me with its unique approach to human health, emphasizing the unity of body and mind. It is often said that only a healthy body can house a healthy soul. Endobiogeny gives equal attention to the functioning of the nervous system and the interaction of hormones in the body. When there is an imbalance in these areas, the body begins to send various signals—initially as isolated symptoms—but if these signals are ignored and not addressed, the problem can become chronic, leading to illness. By applying the endobiogeny method, we can help improve health and prevent diseases.

My goal is to create a close and trust-based relationship with my patients, empowering them to actively participate in their health journey. I want to encourage patients to take responsibility for their own health, to understand that their physical and emotional well-being largely depends on their own efforts, their outlook, and respect for themselves.

Chronic fatigue, chronic stress, sleep disorders, and skin rashes are the areas that interest me the most. These issues are markers of our era, often caused by a fast-paced life and unhealthy lifestyles. However, such conditions are not normal, and it is necessary to address them before they lead to more serious problems. I warmly invite those experiencing these and other symptoms, who are searching for but have yet to find answers, to try to solve your health puzzle together.
